Why it matters
Bifacial designs narrow the yield penalty of vertical mounting — the most landlord-friendly, wind-friendly balcony configuration — which is why they are spreading through the category. Rear-face gains depend heavily on what is behind the panel, so treat vendor bifacial percentages as ceilings.
